Prayer for God's Blessings...

Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we thank You; we love You and adore You.  You alone are worthy of all praise, honor and glory.  I pray that You bless Your people.  You see the needs, You know the thoughts that You think towards us-thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us an expected end.  Please meet the needs of Your people, and we will be so mindful to give YOUR NAME the praise that's due to You, and You alone.

We thank You in advance for healing the sick, opening blind eyes, opening doors of finance and networking, making dreams come true for those who is on the brink of losing hope.  Help us, Father, to build ourselves on our most holy faith.  We need You, every day, every hour.

These things we pray and believe to be done, by faith, in Jesus' name.  AMEN.

Now give our awesome God some PRAISE!  It is well, it is DONE! Hallelujah!!!

The Right Desire

Hello MMCC Followers!
This is Shairon, writer/publisher of MMCC Church Blog!  It has been a minute since I've been on the Blog!

Last Monday (May 9th), I preached a message about "The Right Desire."  We, as saints of God, can fall into the trap of having the wrong mentality and desires.  In this aspect, we need the Davidic mentality-the mindset and heart of David, the type of desire he had towards God.

In Psalm 27:4, David said, "One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple."  One thing about a desire is that it begins with an encounter with something that captivates our thoughts and heart.  True desire drives your determination to fulfill that desire.  To dwell in the house of the Lord was David's desire, and he passionately sought after that.

We desire fancy cars, big homes, jobs pulling down six-figure salaries, spouses-but is it the RIGHT DESIRE?  Yes, God will give us the desires of our heart, but the contingency is DELIGHTING ourselves in HIM!  It's okay to want nice things; however, our passion, our desire and initiative should be seeking God, pleasing God, serving God with a spirit of love and humility.  Matthew 6:33 tells us "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."  God will bless us, He desires to bless His people-BUT, are we obedient to Him and His Word?  Are we seeking Him like we are supposed to?  Are we praying and fasting like we should and ought to do?

While you ask yourselves these questions, let's refocus our thoughts and our hearts toward God.

Blessings will come through obedience.
